A polyimide (PI) film tape with a high-temperature silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is used to protect PCB gold fingers, to mask in reflow and wave soldering ovens and in plating, and to insulate electronic parts. It is rated to 260 °C, and according to the manufacturer it can be removed after a 260 °C process without leaving residue.

Properties
- PI film insulation: high electrical insulation and good withstand voltage, for precise masking of circuit boards.
- Clean removal: after a 260 °C process, pads and gold-finger contacts stay clean when the tape is peeled.
- Thin: the single polyimide layer sits flat and does not change the dimensions of the workpiece.
- Wear and tear resistant: strong enough for wire protection in industrial motors and heavy equipment.
- Made to order: any width from 3 to 610 mm, for small trial quantities or large lots.
