The 3M 8247 respirator combines electrostatic filter media with an activated carbon layer. R95-rated, it filters ≥95% of particulates while adsorbing organic vapors in welding fumes and nuisance odors. The molded cup shape with an adjustable aluminum nose clip and two head straps gives a close facial fit, and is far more comfortable for long wear than ear-loop masks.
