Anti-static liquid: ACL Staticide 2005 and JIAHON anti-static liquid

Two anti-static liquids that you spray, wipe, dip or roll onto a surface. The liquid dries to a clear polymer film that brings the surface resistance down to the static-dissipative range and discourages dust from clinging.

How it works

After the liquid is applied it dries into a transparent polymer anti-static film. The film lowers the surface resistance to the static-dissipative range (the figures for each liquid are in the table below), so charge that builds up on the surface drains away slowly, rather than discharging suddenly. A sudden discharge is what damages components. The film also reduces static attraction of dust and keeps the surface clean. The protection lasts from several weeks to several months, depending on the environment and how often the surface is used.
