About this cart: an ESD workbench cart (also called an anti-static cart or ESD cart) is a cart with a static-dissipative mat on the top, so it can be pushed to a workstation and used as a work surface. Line kitting, repair stations and test areas often need a workbench that moves. This one has a 40×40 mm aluminium profile frame and a top of 20 mm particleboard covered with a 2 mm ESD mat (a stainless steel top is also available). Under the top there are one or two shelves. Lengths run from 60 to 150 cm and widths from 40 to 80 cm; the top height is always 75 cm, and all four 3-inch swivel casters have brakes.

How to choose
- As an ESD workbench: choose the ESD top, and ground it, or the ESD top does not work. Connect a ground cord when the cart is parked, or change to conductive casters on an ESD floor (the standard casters are PU).
- Only need a scratch-resistant, easy-to-clean top: choose the stainless steel top.
- Narrow aisles, small parts only: 40 cm wide. To lay out fixtures or parts bins: 60 or 80 cm wide. Choose the length by what you will put on it.
- One extra shelf for tools or bins: 2 tiers. Two shelves: 3 tiers.

- Black conductive casters: with an ESD floor, they drain charge from the top and frame to the floor through the wheels (ask about the caster mount).
- PVC ESD floor tape: forms the discharge path together with conductive casters.

Common questions
How is an ESD cart grounded? The ESD top only works when it is grounded: connect a ground cord when the cart is parked, or change to conductive casters on an ESD floor. This cart comes with PU swivel casters.
Are other sizes available? There are 14 length × width sizes (several lengths at 40, 60 and 80 cm wide). For other sizes, send the number of tiers, the top (ESD or stainless steel), the size and the quantity.
Does the cart need assembly? Yes. It is shipped knocked down and assembled on site.
