LEDs, round sensors, round ceramic capacitors, round filters and similar parts rattle and shift in square-cavity trays and are slow to pick; in trays without cavities they bump into each other. Antistatic round-cavity trays have cavity walls designed around the outer diameter of round components, so parts sit firmly without turning or colliding. The black ESD material is antistatic throughout, and cavity counts from 20 to 104 cover large to small components.
