How to choose: ESD control × airflow × coverage.
Three questions decide the cap: (1) is the work area ESD-controlled (then you need conductive fiber); (2) how much coverage you need (head only, or head, neck and shoulders); (3) how much airflow you need (in hot plants, choose mesh). Food-processing caps contain no conductive fiber and must not be used in ESD areas.

Baseball, worker and bow caps use the same polyester with conductive fiber, so their ESD performance is similar; the difference is shape and preference. A shoulder hood extends down to the shoulders and closes the gap above the waist of two-piece garments; use it with a coverall or cleanroom jacket.
Food-processing caps and mesh caps contain no conductive fiber and must not be used in ESD-controlled areas. Mesh caps come in bulk packs for regular replenishment.
