Tape covers: Samsung CP feeders are used on CP45 / CP60 / CP80 high-speed placement machines. This page lists 29 compatible CP feeder mechanism parts, mainly tape covers (several widths), sprockets, the flapper mechanism and one-way bearing pinions. CP tape covers come in five widths from 8 mm to 44 mm, and the 8 mm cover is further split into N type (J7065486A) and S/P type (J2500474S). Check the feeder model to confirm N or S/P type before ordering; mixing them causes unstable tape holding.
Safety latches and sprockets: tape cover safety latches also follow the width: 8 mm (J2500437), 12 mm (J2500090), 16 mm (J2500121), 24 mm (J2500243); replace them together with the matching tape cover. Sprockets come in three groups: 8×4 mm (J7000795 / J7000796), 12 mm (J2500266 / J2500084) and 16 / 24 mm (J7000794). They are core parts for CP feeding accuracy; when the teeth wear, the feed pitch shifts, so inspect the teeth visually at the yearly PM.
One-way pinions and flappers: one-way bearing pinions come in half (J2500524 / J7265075B, with bearing J1301606) and full (J2500448) versions. The half version is common on earlier CP machines; confirm the feeder version before ordering. The steel flapper (J2500211 / J7000777) locates the pick-up point on CP feeders and works with the flapper pawl (J2500016); when it wears, the pick-up position shifts, a direct cause of a rising defect rate.
