However good your cleaning is, it is wasted if the water quality is not there.
The JHPB-T250L deionized water machine takes municipal tap water and treats it in three stages — pretreatment, RO reverse osmosis and an MB mixed-bed system — turning tap water into purified water and then deionized water in one unit. RO salt rejection is ≥ 97%.

Key advantages
Tap water in, ultrapure water out, in one machine. Pretreatment, RO reverse osmosis and MB mixed bed are integrated in one unit, from municipal tap water to purified water to deionized water in a single pass.
24-hour continuous production. Fast low-pressure flushing at start-up and automatic RO membrane flushing displace residual water in the RO, slow membrane fouling, and extend the chemical cleaning interval and membrane life.
Multiple shutdown protections. A leak sensor at the base stops the water inlet at once if there is a leak or the water supply runs short. The machine also stops if RO outlet pressure is too high or inlet pressure is too high or too low, and the high-pressure pump stops automatically if its inlet pressure is too low, to protect the pump.
Consumable reminders. The machine logs running time and reminds you (with reset) when consumables are due. Tank level is read by a pressure sensor with analogue output instead of a float switch, for steadier readings.
System configuration
| System | Description |
|---|---|
| Pretreatment | Multi-media filter (quartz sand, coconut-shell activated carbon), cation softener, PP cartridge precision filter; standard output 0.5 m³/h. Removes particles, organics and residual chlorine, lowers SDI and prevents calcium / magnesium scaling on the RO membrane |
| RO reverse osmosis | High-pressure pump, RO membrane and pressure vessel; pre-desalination, organics removal above 99%, inorganic salts 94–98% (design value ≥ 97% for this machine) |
| MB mixed bed | RO tank, DI water pump and two-stage mixed-bed polishing; single-pass RO alone cannot reach ultrapure quality, so a two-stage mixed bed is used to reach the required purity |
| Safety filter | 5 μm PP cartridge, keeping SDI before the RO below 4 |
Consumables and replacement intervals
Based on 8 hours a day at 250 L per hour (about 2 tonnes a day). Intervals vary with process, actual water use and local water quality and are for reference only; decide actual replacement from on-site water tests.
| Consumable | Suggested interval |
|---|---|
| Quartz sand 0.5–1.0 mm, 15 kg | About 6 months, approx. 360 t of output |
| Coconut-shell activated carbon 6–12 mesh, 15 kg | About 6 months, approx. 360 t of output |
| Softening resin (cation) 25 L | About 6 months, approx. 360 t; regenerate with industrial salt every 1–2 weeks |
| PP precision cartridge 10-inch / 5 μm, 2 pcs | 1–2 months |
| RO membrane 4040, 1 pc | About 2–3 years, depending on rejection decline |
| Mixed-bed polishing resin 40 L | About 3–4 months, approx. 200 t; replace when output falls below 10 MΩ·cm |
Routine maintenance
Multi-media filter flushing: 1–2 times a week (depending on local water). Turn the manual multi-port valve to BACK WASH for 15 minutes, then FAST RINSE for 10 minutes, then back to SERVICE.
Cation softener regeneration: about every 1–2 weeks. Dissolve 5 kg of industrial salt in about 14 L of water to make a saturated brine, then run back wash → brine draw → fast rinse. Finish by testing a sample with softened-water reagent; the sample turning blue means it passes.
Operating log: record inlet / outlet pressure, flow, temperature and conductivity regularly. Although the machine has low-water, full-tank and low-pressure protection, please operate and record to the design rules and adjust promptly if any parameter goes beyond its design limit.
