Installation and use
- Dual ports: connect HIGH to the higher-pressure side (upstream / before the filter) and LOW to the lower-pressure side (downstream / after the filter); differential = High − Low.
- Vertical mounting: the Magnehelic is designed for vertical wall mounting; horizontal mounting affects reading accuracy.
- No power needed: fully mechanical magnetic sensing, for inspection points or standalone monitoring positions without power.
- Zero adjustment: regularly open both ports to atmosphere to check the pointer returns to zero; if it drifts, adjust the zero screw on the back.
- Pairing: if you need an electrical output (such as 4–20 mA for remote monitoring), choose a DWYER 2300 series electronic differential pressure gauge.
