Two types of pipe rack cart: multi-tier turnover carts (also called pipe rack carts or lean pipe carts) are used to move work in progress, fixtures and parts bins between processes. A lean pipe system is built from pipes and joints. This page has two types: the beige type uses beige coated steel pipe with black joints, 2–5 tiers, 400–1600 mm long and 400–600 mm wide, in 45 standard sizes; the grey type uses 28 mm aluminium pipe, an 800 × 600 mm deck, 1–3 tiers and four handle styles. Both use green ESD shelf boards.

How to choose
- To pick a size directly: choose the beige lean pipe cart: 45 sizes, 400–1600 mm long, 400–600 mm wide, 2–5 tiers.
- For taller items such as bins and fixtures: beige 2 tiers (about 440 mm clearance); for flat work in progress and more tiers: 3 tiers (about 270 mm) or 4–5 tiers.
- Narrow aisles with many turns: 400 mm wide is easier to push; for more items spread out: 500 or 600 mm wide.
- Grey type, long pushing distances and frequent turns: type A with the upright U-handle, grip height 900 mm.
- Grey type, level with a 750 mm workbench: type B (handle level with the deck); for an 850 mm standing work surface: type C (no handle).

Used with
- Black conductive casters: with an ESD floor, they let static on the cart drain to ground through the wheels (ask us about the caster mount).
- PVC ESD floor tiles: form the static drain path together with conductive casters.
- Thick ESD stackable bins: sort parts on the shelves.
