Calibration strips: this fourth Samsung parts page focuses on calibration tools, head maintenance consumables and STS feeder parts. Feeder calibration steel strips can be used with all Samsung feeder series and come in nine widths from 8 mm to 88 mm. They are used after feeder installation to check the opening and pitch; keeping one of each width in the toolbox is useful.
Holders and vacuum filters: Samsung head nozzle shaft connectors (holders) come in an M3 thread version (SM471 / 421) and an M4 thread version (SM320 / 321 / 421 / 411); the threads are not interchangeable, so confirm the connector spec for your machine model before ordering. Vacuum nozzle filters come in three versions by machine: J7458002A for SM421 / SM321 / SM320, and VYF44M-50M (filter housing) and J67081017 (filter pad) for SM471. Work out the order quantity from the number of heads and the replacement cycle; SM471 filters are available by the box (10 pcs) or bag (100 pcs) for batch replacement at PM.
STS reel parts, stopper cylinder and safety key: the STS 8 mm feeder reel wheel assembly (five parts: rubber gear-1, comb-2, rubber gear-3, comb-4, reel wheel-5) is the complete wear set of the STS feeder’s tape winding mechanism; when it wears, winding tension drops, and replacing the whole set saves work. The stopper cylinder (J6701018B, SM421 / CP45) is the core part of the PCB stop mechanism; when it ages, the stop position drifts and repeat positioning accuracy suffers. The safety latch key (SM421 / 471 / 481) locks the safety door; if it is lost, the door cannot be locked properly, so keeping 1–2 spare keys is worth considering.
