Bench protection for soldering stations, hot air guns and hot carriers, in three sizes.
Woven from high-density fiberglass, this blanket is designed for heat-insulating use near hot work. Lay it directly on the work surface to catch sparks from soldering irons and hot air guns, or to hold carriers just out of the oven. It protects the bench and helps stop fire from spreading.
- Sizes: 50 × 50, 60 × 80 and 100 × 100 cm
- Color / material: khaki, fiberglass

About the material
Fiberglass is an inorganic, non-metallic material. It does not burn and withstands much higher temperatures than organic fibers such as cotton or nylon. The dense weave helps stop sparks from passing through and igniting the surface below. Local darkening after contact with high heat is normal charring.
