FUJI CP6 / CP7 / XP feeder springs, latches, panels and small hardware: take-up reel springs and WC series rebuild spares

Supply type: for the same part number we may offer new parts (not through the brand’s authorized distributor in Taiwan), compatible parts or used parts removed from machines, depending on stock. Please tell us which you need.

This is part III of our FUJI CP6 / CP7 / XP feeder parts series. It focuses on springs, latches, panels and small hardware, and pairs with part II for full feeder rebuilds or scheduled preventive maintenance. Springs are the core return elements of the feeder mechanism, including the take-up reel springs (WCA0700 / WCA0701) and the large base spring (WCA0166); when their force weakens, feeding stability suffers directly, so we suggest checking them every 6–12 months.

The latch hooks (MCA0051 / MCA0571) and beak latch hook (MCA0560) hold and position the tape; once worn, the tape tends to shift or come loose. The white rubber roller (KJAC0560) hardens and loses elasticity after long contact with the tape, causing abnormal feeding noise. These consumables cost little to replace but have a direct effect, so they belong on your regular spares list. The front safety latch set (latch KJAC0102 + spring KJAC0072 + sleeve KJAC0080) is usually replaced as a set of three; note the spring direction when fitting.

Front panels (WCA0435 / WCA0020) and side plate screws (WCA0113 / WCA0440) are easily damaged or lost during cleaning or moving, so we suggest keeping 2–3 sets in stock. Shims (WCA0120 / WCA0451) and copper shims (MCA0141 / MCA0152) are thin but key parts for adjusting feeder accuracy; if the machine reports unstable feeding, check shim wear first.

Recommended maintenance intervals

  • Take-up reel springs (WCA0700 / 0701): check every 6–12 months; weakened springs cause abnormal feeding noise or poor tape return.
  • White rubber roller (KJAC0560): replace as soon as it hardens or cracks; common on older machines in long-term high-temperature environments.
  • Front safety latch set: replacing all three parts (latch + spring + sleeve) together is more efficient; replacing one alone tends to lead to repeated faults.
  • Large base spring (WCA0166): replace during CP7 feeder rebuilds; the labour to strip and refit costs far more than the part.

Ordering parts II and III together covers all the consumables needed for a full CP / XP feeder rebuild.
