Adjust the height with a hand wheel
When one workbench is shared by operators of different heights, or workpiece heights vary a lot, a fixed-height table does not suit everyone. On this hand-crank workbench, turning the hand wheel drives a screw that moves an X-linkage under the top, raising or lowering it. The four legs are telescopic, with a thinner tube sliding inside a thicker one.
