Honeywell LSP4L heavy-duty limit switch
The Honeywell LSP4L is a heavy-duty side rotary limit switch. What sets it apart is its DPDT contacts, 600 VAC rating and protection up to NEMA 6P / IP67. DPDT gives two independent changeover contact sets, so one switch can control two separate circuits without an extra auxiliary relay. The 600 VAC rating lets it connect directly to industrial supplies without stepping down the voltage, suiting North American and higher-voltage applications. NEMA 6P is the top US waterproof rating, the usual requirement for high-pressure washdown.

Why DPDT?
Most limit switches are SPDT, with one changeover contact. With the LSP4L’s two independent contacts, one set can signal the PLC that a position has been reached while the other directly cuts the power circuit as a hardware stop — both functions from a single switch, with simpler wiring.
Typical locations: valve control in petrochemical plants, conveyors in steel mills, food processing lines (NEMA 6P for washdown). The 600 VAC rating makes integration into overseas equipment easier.
