A probe-type thermocouple (temperature probe) has its K-type sensing point at the tip of a slim metal probe, so it can go into a hole, reach inside an oven or furnace, or press against an equipment surface. These models have a metal-shielded lead with spring strain relief; both lead length and probe length can be chosen — pick a combination by the distance from the measuring point to your instrument and the insertion depth.
K-type thermocouple · metal-shielded lead + spring strain relief · lead length 1–5 m · probe length 30, 50, 100, 150, 200 mm

How to choose
- Lead length: by the distance from the measuring point to the instrument (or logger), leaving spare for routing.
- Probe length: short probes for shallow holes or surface measurement; long probes to reach inside ovens or furnaces.
Where it is used
Temperature measurement inside ovens, in furnaces, on equipment housings, hot plates, fixtures and PCBA measuring points. Use with a thermocouple reading instrument or data logger. Ask us about other specs.
