Three types of KEYENCE ionizer
KEYENCE static eliminators come in three forms. The fan type (SJF5500) uses a built-in fan to blow ions over a wide area. The smart type (SJ-F700) uses precision DC high voltage, supports automatic ion balance correction and allows remote monitoring over Ethernet. The bar type (SJ-E156A) mounts beside equipment to remove static at a specific position. Accessories OP-88417 (power cable) and OP-87424 (probe cleaning tool) are maintenance items.

About I.C.C. ion balance control
The SJ-F700 uses KEYENCE I.C.C. (Ion Concentration Control) technology. The system detects the ion balance (the ratio of positive to negative ions) and adjusts the high-voltage output in real time to keep the offset voltage within ±1 V. The Ethernet interface lets engineers monitor the ionizer’s status and ion balance values remotely from an MES or SCADA system.
Selection by application
- SJF5500: large work areas, such as the full length of a conveyor, where high air flow and wide coverage are needed.
- SJ-F700: precision electronics assembly that needs close monitoring of ion balance, or integration into an equipment monitoring system.
- SJ-E156A: long workpieces (1,560 mm bar coverage) or specific positions inside equipment.
