USB speeds and connector types
Micro USB and USB-A are no longer the newest ports, but they are still widely used on industrial equipment, test instruments, older external drives and Android devices. The LINDY USB-A / Micro USB range covers USB 2.0 (480 Mbps) to USB 3.2 Gen1 (5 Gbps) in four connector combinations: Type-A to Type-A, Type-A to Micro-B, Type-A to Mini-B and Type-C to Micro-B.

How to choose
USB 2.0 vs 3.0 — decide by data volume: for charging and low-speed peripherals (keyboards, mice, instrument command transfer), USB 2.0 at 480 Mbps is enough. For large data transfers (image backups, batch export of equipment logs), choose a USB 3.0 / 3.2 Gen1 5 Gbps model.
Micro-B vs Mini-B — check the device port: Micro-B (flat) is common on Android phones and external drives. Mini-B (trapezoid, 5-pin) is mostly found on older digital cameras, GPS devices and older industrial control equipment. Confirm the connector on your device before ordering.
Identifying the series: CROMO has a silver-gray chrome-plated ABS housing with gold-plated connectors and contacts. ANTHRA is black, for tidy, low-key cable runs.
