Optical alignment, microscope observation and inspection fixtures often need a part moved just a little and then locked in place. A manual linear stage is driven by a micrometer knob and runs on linear ball guides for smooth movement and clear readings. We offer X, XY and XYZ versions in stainless steel and aluminum alloy.
Specifications
| Type | Table size (mm) | Material |
|---|---|---|
| X axis (single axis) | 25, 40, 60, 80, 100 | Stainless steel or aluminum alloy |
| XY axis (two axes) | 25, 40, 60, 80, 100 | Stainless steel or aluminum alloy |
| XYZ axis (three axes) | 40, 60, 80 | Please ask |
| Drive | Micrometer knob; replacement knobs sold separately |
How to choose
- Number of axes: X for adjusting one direction; XY for planar alignment; XYZ if height also needs adjusting.
- Table size by load: the larger and heavier the parts or fixture on top, the larger the table you need.
- Stainless steel or aluminum alloy: aluminum is lighter and lower in cost; stainless steel is durable and corrosion resistant, for damp places or where it needs wiping clean.
- Travel and accuracy: travel and reading accuracy differ by size; a spec sheet comes with the quote.
Where it is used
- Optical adjustment, laser alignment
- Fine positioning of microscopes and cameras
- Alignment for inspection fixtures, dispensing and soldering
- Lab sample positioning
Notes
- Travel, accuracy and load capacity depend on the model; a spec sheet comes with the quote.
- Check the mounting holes against your base or optical table.
How to request a quote: please tell us the number of axes, table size, material, required travel and accuracy, and the approximate weight of what will sit on top.
