High-Purity Metal Granules | Oxygen-Free Copper, Tin, Tungsten, Molybdenum, Titanium, Silver, Iron, Nickel, 20 g–1 kg

Eight metal granules for evaporation and melting

This page offers eight high-purity metal granules: oxygen-free copper granules (plus copper powder and micron copper powder), tin, tungsten, molybdenum, titanium, silver, iron and nickel, in weights from 20 g (silver) to 1 kg. They are used as vacuum thermal evaporation sources, arc melting charges, sintering and powder metallurgy feedstock, and measured research stock.

Material notes

  • Tungsten: high density (19.3 g/cm³) and high melting point (3422°C); evaporation needs electron-beam equipment.
  • Molybdenum: melting point 2623°C; electron-beam or high-frequency induction evaporation.
  • Oxygen-free copper: high conductivity, a common feedstock for RF magnetron sputtering targets; copper powder and micron copper powder are used for plasma spraying and powder metallurgy.
  • Tin: low melting point (232°C), for resistance-heated evaporation and low-temperature casting.
  • Silver: high catalytic activity, used in photocatalysis and electrocatalysis research.
