Gears and shutter: gears come in 8×2 mm (104853101106) and 8×4 mm (104853111106) pitch, with a gear inner plate (104853200301). As these three parts wear, feed pitch error builds up, so replace them as a set. The shutter (104852100909) controls the tape opening on MSR feeders; when it wears, the pick-up position shifts, so it is the first thing to check when the pick-up error rate rises.

Selection notes
- Single vs dual reel: links, press levers, safety latches and tape guide latches all differ by reel type; confirm the feeder version before ordering.
- Check the shutter first: when the pick-up error rate rises, check the shutter (104852100909) for wear; it is one of the frequent failure parts on MSR feeders.
- Long and short tape cover screws: the long (104854200302) and short (104854200502) screws give different clamping depths; mixing them causes unstable tape holding, so specify the version.
