Heat resistant, insulating, non-stick industrial tape.
Nitto PTFE (Teflon) high-temperature tapes are made for industrial equipment and electrical work. They resist heat, insulate, release molten material and resist wear, and keep stable adhesion at high temperature for long continuous use.
Specifications
| Model | 973UL | 903UL |
|---|---|---|
| Construction | Glass cloth + PTFE | PTFE film |
| Length | 10 m | 10 m |
| Temperature range | −60 to 200 °C | −60 to 200 °C |
Temperature and flame retardance are per the Nitto datasheets (973UL, 903UL).
Features
| Model | Features |
|---|---|
| 973UL | Non-adhesive side resists heat, weather and chemicals, and repels water; flame retardant (UL510, per Nitto datasheet) |
| 903UL | Single-sided silicone-adhesive tape; wear resistant, heat insulating, slippery surface for long-running equipment |
Common to both:
- High electrical insulation, non-conductive; can be used as electrical insulating tape
- Non-stick PTFE surface that molten material and debris do not cling to
- Stable at high temperature for long use
- Waterproof and wear resistant for many industrial environments, helping equipment run smoothly
Uses
- Heat protection on heat sealers and anti-stick on vacuum packaging machine seal bars
- Insulation of wires, cables, coils, and electrodes in backup batteries and energy storage
- Heat-resistant sliding surfaces at printer paper feeds and in automated equipment
- High-temperature insulation, wear protection and general protection in electronics, electrical and industrial equipment
We supply Nitto 973UL and 903UL in several sizes, with custom sizes and help choosing the right type.
