8 mm feeders are the most numerous and fastest-wearing feeders on an SMT line. If the feeder body is undamaged but feeding is rough or the tape jams, replacing attachments such as the clamping mechanism or spring fasteners usually restores normal operation at far lower cost than a new feeder. Two attachment types are available, N610156996AA and N610156995AA, made to match Panasonic 8 mm feeders, to extend feeder life.
