Choosing support pins is not just about the machine model — board thickness, component height distribution and changeover frequency matter too. This page continues the part list from support pins I and, for repeat and batch restocking, gives a fuller spec comparison for the same machine types (FUJI NXT / Siemens ASM / DEK / Panasonic / JUKI / Yamaha / Samsung). Mixed-model plants usually stock more than 10 support pin types, so one combined quote saves admin work.
Buying notes:
- Check the rubber part of soft support pins every 6–12 months for hardening or permanent compression set.
- ESD-safe soft pins should have a resistance to ground in the 10⁶–10⁹ Ω range; verify it regularly with a surface resistance meter.
- If an aluminium base is scratched or deformed, replace the whole set to keep positioning accurate.
Trademarks: FUJI, NXT, Siemens, ASM, DEK, Panasonic, JUKI, Yamaha and Samsung are trademarks or model names of their owners, used here only to identify compatible machines. JIAHON is not the authorized distributor of these brands in Taiwan.
How to choose
| Factor | What it means | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Pin height | Must match the gap to the machine’s support plate | A height difference of ≥ 1 mm easily causes board flex or squeegee scraping |
| Pin material | Soft (rubber) vs hard (steel / plastic) | Soft pins suit large areas; hard pins give precise point support |
| ESD rating | ESD-safe vs standard | Boards with ESD-sensitive components should use ESD-safe pins |
| Base type | Magnetic vs non-magnetic base | Magnetic bases change over faster, useful for high-mix, low-volume machines |
| Bar type vs single pin | Aluminium bar-type bases support larger board areas | Bar type changes over fast; single pins position precisely |
Note: this is the second page of the series and shares the same part list as support pins I — useful for split orders or topping up spares. When you ask, please send the machine model and quantity.
