When automated equipment is changed over or expanded, the pain point in choosing proximity sensors is that the same size often has to be stocked in both NPN and PNP, plus NO / NC variants, so the number of stock items multiplies. The Pepperl+Fuchs proximity sensor range covers M8 to M30 cylindrical, rectangular and flat housings with NPN / PNP, NO / NC and NAMUR outputs and sensing ranges from 1.5 mm to 50 mm.
