The Pepperl+Fuchs KCD2-E2 is a 1-channel NAMUR sensor output interface module. It converts the weak current signal of NAMUR standard sensors (such as inductive proximity switches) into a dry relay contact output, while providing signal isolation and lead breakage monitoring. A yellow LED shows the output status in real time, and the compact 6 mm wide housing snaps directly onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail for densely packed control panels.
