SCHMERSAL Z series heavy-duty limit switches
SCHMERSAL is a safety switch manufacturer, and its Z series limit switches are built around heavy-duty metal housings and high protection ratings. All three models have 1NO + 1NC contacts, metal housings and IP66 protection, for installations exposed to oil, coolant splash or impact from heavy machinery.
All three share a heavy-duty metal housing, M20 conduit entry and IP66 protection; they differ in actuator design.

ZR355 universal head
The actuator head of the ZR355-11Z-M20 can be rotated in 4 × 90° steps and locked at 0°, 90°, 180° or 270°. This helps with machine modifications or limited installation space — one model covers four mounting orientations.
ZV7H for oily environments
The ZV7H 235-11Z-1637 has a side lever design, with housing and sealing suited to cutting-oil environments on CNC machine tools and machining centers. Side actuation suits worktable stroke limit detection.
- Standards: EN 50041; the M20 conduit entry fits most industrial control panel wiring.
- Metal housing: higher impact resistance and mechanical strength than plastic-housed limit switches, for positions exposed to direct impact.
