Schneider ATV610 variable speed drives (3-phase 380–460 V, 0.75–160 kW)

This page lists 40 Schneider ATV610 variable speed drive models (20 standard + 20 Z versions): 3-phase 380–460 V, normal duty (ND) 0.75–160 kW, frame sizes 1–6. First check the motor power, then whether the load is normal or heavy duty, and find the model and frame size in the power tables below. Models are subject to actual availability; please check with us before ordering. For a quote, please send the model and quantity.

Supply type: new units, not supplied through the brand’s authorized distributor in Taiwan. Please contact us about after-sales questions.

How to choose a model

  1. Confirm the motor power (kW) and rated current (A).
  2. Check the load’s short-term overload: up to 110% (60 s) or 120% (20 s), use the normal duty (ND) column; up to 150% (60 s), use the heavy duty (HD) column.
  3. In that column, find a model whose power and rated output current are not less than the motor’s; ask us if unsure. For the same model, the heavy duty power is lower than the normal duty power.

Power tables (by frame size)

Models ending in an extra Z are Z versions; their frame size follows the standard version. Z versions do not come with the display terminal as standard and have no top cover, and their dimensions differ from the standard version; ask us for Z version rated output current, heavy duty values and weight.

Maintenance tips

  1. Before wiring or servicing, disconnect all power, including external control power; a circuit breaker or main switch may not cut every circuit. Lock out and tag the switch so no one re-energizes it, wait 15 minutes for the DC bus capacitors to discharge, then confirm absence of voltage following the manual’s procedure. Only qualified technicians may do this work.
  2. Before working, technicians should block the motor shaft to prevent unexpected rotation, insulate both ends of unused conductors in the motor cable, and not short the DC bus terminals, DC bus capacitors or braking resistor terminals.
  3. In operation, the drive surface can exceed 80°C (176°F). Make sure it has cooled before handling, and keep flammable or heat-sensitive items away.
  4. Mount vertically on concrete or another non-flammable surface; not near heat sources or on flammable material. Use lock washers on mounting screws and tighten them properly.
  5. Leave cooling space above the unit: at least 100 mm for frame sizes 1–5 and 250 mm for frame size 6; other sides also have minimum clearances, so follow the table in the manual.
  6. Route control and power wiring separately: more than 200 mm between control and power wiring, more than 300 mm between power wiring and motor cable, and more than 500 mm between motor cable and control wiring. Use shielded twisted pair for logic and analog signals, with a twist pitch of 25–50 mm.
  7. Ground the drive before applying power. The protective earth conductor cross-section must meet requirements; do not use conduit or cable shields as the protective earth. The drive’s leakage current exceeds 3.5 mA, so if the ground is broken, touching the machine can cause electric shock.
  8. Before startup, check: installation clearances, mounting screws tight, protective earth connected, terminal screws tightened to the specified torque, correct fuse and circuit breaker ratings, both ends of every cable conductor connected or insulated, control and power wiring separated, and all covers, doors and guards back in place.
  9. At first startup, start only when no people or obstacles are in the operating area, and make sure everyone present can reach a working emergency stop button; do not change parameters you are unsure of.
  10. Disconnect power before maintenance (see item 1). Do routine maintenance at least once a year: inspect the exterior; check terminals, connectors, screws and the EMC mounting plate for corrosion; clean dust from terminals, fans, enclosure air inlets and outlets and cabinet air filters; confirm the fans run properly; and recheck the tightening torque of all electrical and mechanical connections. Shorten the interval in harsh environments.
  11. The fan may keep running for a while after the drive is switched off, and may stop temporarily while the drive is running; make sure it has stopped completely before handling it.

Fuse and circuit breaker selection, parameters and fault codes are not covered on this page; please ask us.
