Schneider Harmony XB4 pushbuttons — illuminated LED and standard green start buttons, 22 mm, IP66/69K
The Schneider Electric Harmony XB4 series is a 22 mm industrial pushbutton range with a metal bezel. Its modular design lets you combine operating heads and contact blocks as needed. This page covers illuminated pushbuttons (XB4BW35B5, ZB4-BW343) for visible status and the standard pushbutton (XB4BA31) for general control such as machine start. All use a 22 mm cut-out, offer IP66/67/69K protection and have a corrosion-resistant metal bezel.
With the modular Harmony XB4 design, the operating head and contact block can be replaced separately, so a worn contact does not mean replacing the whole unit.

About the ZB4 prefix: ZB4 is the part/operating-head reference for Harmony XB4 and must be combined with the matching contact block; the XB4 prefix is a complete unit (head with contacts). Please confirm whether you need a complete unit or parts before ordering.

Maintenance tips
- Disconnect all power before servicing equipment: there is a risk of electric shock, explosion and arc flash. Switching off the power is also the first step when replacing a lamp.
- For panel mounting, the cut-out diameter is 22.3 mm and panel thickness must be 1–6 mm; the center distance between adjacent cut-outs is 40 × 30, 40 × 40 or 60 × 60 mm depending on the type. These figures are from the XB2B●●●C instruction sheet; for XA2, XB5 and other models, refer to their own specifications.
- After installation, check that the button operates fully and that nothing obstructs or jams it.
- Electrical equipment should be installed, operated, serviced and maintained only by qualified personnel. Items not given in the instruction sheet (rated voltage and current, contact rating, operating temperature, lamp specification, colors, dimensions) are not on this page — please ask us, including the model and quantity.
What illuminated pushbuttons are used for
Illuminated pushbuttons (XB4BW35B5, ZB4-BW343) play two roles in a control panel: pressing them performs a control action, while the LED shows equipment status (for example, on while running and off when stopped). Compared with fitting a separate pilot light, they save panel cut-outs, which is especially useful in densely packed control panels and machine operator boxes.
