Fully automatic AOI stencil inspection systems cost a lot, which does not pay off for smaller lines or plants buying their first QC equipment. JH-SMT-883A is semi-automatic: a 38 MP camera with a PLC controller detects 13 common defect types at a moderate budget, as an entry-level stencil QC investment.

How it works
Place the stencil on the table, move to the area with the X / Y buttons and fine-tune focus. The 38 MP camera shows the enlarged image on the monitor and can record video and photos. Autofocus and the wireless mouse let the operator measure aperture size and mark defect positions quickly.
Besides SMT stencils, it can inspect screen-printing screens, films, circuit boards, printed LEDs and phone touch-panel cover glass.
