SICK NOx analyzer parts
SICK is a manufacturer of industrial sensors and analyzers. NOx (nitrogen oxide) analyzers are used for flue gas emission monitoring in power plants and factories as part of continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS). This page covers four SICK parts for the analyzer’s sample gas path: flow meters (regulating sample flow), an air filter (removing particles to protect the measuring cell) and the SIDOR gas cell.

Maintenance of consumables
CEMS must run continuously, and regular replacement of consumables is key to keeping measurements accurate:
- Flow meters (2130990 / 2133162): regulate sample gas flow so the amount entering the measuring cell stays stable. Needle valves can wear with long use; replace first if flow becomes unstable.
- Air filter (2082432): the PTFE membrane traps particles and protects the measuring cell. Typically replaced every 3–6 months or according to the differential pressure indication.
