The Siemens SIRIUS ACT 3SU series uses a modular design: actuators (push button heads, illuminated heads) and contact blocks are ordered separately. The 3SU1400-1AA10-3CA0 is a front-mount contact block with 1NC positive opening contact. Positive opening is an important safety feature: even if the contacts stick because they have welded, the mechanical action still forces them apart, preventing the dangerous situation where welded contacts cannot open the circuit.

Which actuator to combine it with
The 3SU1400 contact block is designed for SIRIUS ACT 3SU1 actuators, 22 mm panel cutout, front mounting. The 1NC positive-opening contact is commonly combined with an emergency stop actuator (emergency stop circuits use NC contacts), and can also be used with a standard push button head for normally closed monitoring circuits in safety circuits. For a 1NO contact or a 2-contact version, please ask about other 3SU1400 models.
