Daily ESD check at the EPA entrance
The SL-031A is designed for checking personnel before they start work in an EPA (ESD protected area). One unit tests the anti-static wrist strap and the left and right ESD shoes, with three test modes that can be combined as needed. Results are shown as LO / PASS / HI with LED indicators and a buzzer; a fail triggers a continuous alarm to alert supervisors. The output signal can be linked to an entry gate so that anyone who fails the test cannot enter, supporting ESD audits and ISO controls in SMT and semiconductor plants.
