SMC AL30-03 lubricator
The service life of cylinders, solenoid valves and pneumatic tools depends on the right amount of lubricating oil mist in the compressed air. The AL series lubricator makes oil feed adjustable and visible.
How it works
The lubricator is installed at the end of an FRL unit or on its own in a branch line. As compressed air flows through, the venturi effect atomizes oil from the bowl and mixes it evenly into the air stream sent to downstream components. The right amount of oil mist reduces wear on rubber seals and extends equipment life.

Notes: the bowl is polycarbonate — keep it away from organic solvents. Use ISO VG 32 turbine oil.
Selection note: if downstream equipment must not be lubricated (food-grade or precision measuring applications), omit the lubricator and use an FR (filter-regulator) unit only. This is general guidance; please confirm for your application.
