SMC VFM350-N02-34R manual valve
The VFM series 5-port manual valve is used for cylinder direction control, maintenance isolation and manual operator stations. The rotary knob is simple and reliable to operate.
When is a manual valve needed?
On automated lines, most cylinders are controlled by the PLC through solenoid valves. During maintenance, trial runs or emergency stops, however, engineers need to operate cylinders by hand. A manual valve provides that manual intervention and is usually mounted on a maintenance panel on the side of the machine or on an operator console.
