Rail edge clamps (board clamp strips) hold the PCB edges in place during printing. If a clamp is worn or loose, the PCB can shift during the squeegee stroke, which leads directly to print offset, open joints and other defects. What to check when buying:
- DEK edge clamps come in two generations — old type (base 119203) and new type (base 158815). The bases are not interchangeable, so confirm the machine’s year before ordering.
- GKG G5 / G9 edge clamps include the K3 old type (150 mm), the standard type (300 / 360 mm) and several new types — make sure you pick the right one.
- Some edge clamp part numbers are shared across MPM ACCUFLEX, MOMENTUM125 and BTB, but the BTB base is different.
- HTGD GD450 Z-direction edge clamps come in improved / standard and large / small versions; choose from a photo of the damaged part.
