Edge clamp wear is often underestimated because each brand’s maintenance focus is different. On DEK machines, if the edge clamp base is not replaced for a long time, the screw clamping torque gradually weakens and the board can loosen slightly during printing. MPM machines have several edge clamp series — ACCUFLEX, MOMENTUM125 and BTB — and some parts have similar part numbers but different base specs. This page gives extended selection specs for users of DESEN DSP / DSP-1008 / DSP-4008, ERKA X4 / X5, A5 / A9, GPX-CS and MPM BTB printers.
Notes:
- DESEN DSP edge clamps come in two mounting types: Z-direction base type and sectional type. The 150 mm sectional clamps on DSP-1008 / DSP-4008 let you replace only the damaged section, lowering maintenance cost.
- The old-type A9 edge clamp is discontinued; the improved type replaces it directly.
- GPX-CS edge clamps come in two standard sizes: 380 mm and 540 mm.
- A general-purpose 70 mm edge clamp strip can be used where temporary fixing is needed.
