A rubber squeegee blade (polyurethane squeegee blade) is flexible, so during solder paste printing it follows the stencil apertures closely and leaves less paste at the bottom of the openings. For red glue (adhesive) printing, the blade material’s solvent resistance matters more. This page covers compatible rubber squeegee blades for GKG, SPG, MPM and SPD / SPG-type printers and other printer brands, in lengths from 150 to 550 mm, sold either as a complete pair (front and rear squeegees with holders) or as single blades. Squeegee screws and end dams can be ordered at the same time.
Pair or single blade? A “pair” is the complete front + rear squeegee set, including holders and blades — for a first purchase, or when the holders are also worn. A “single blade” replaces only the blade while keeping the holder, which is the usual way to restock. The green rubber blade is an interchangeable blade of the same size. The SPD / SPG-type squeegees come with steel end dams, which use a different material from the standard end dams.
