SPD / SPG-type rubber squeegee blades have consistent blade hardness and come with stainless steel end dams, so they suit lines with tighter print accuracy requirements or high-frequency continuous production. SPD / SPG type vs standard type: the SPD / SPG type includes stainless steel end dams, while the standard type uses flexible rubber end dams; the SPD / SPG-type blue end dams use a harder material; and the squeegee end brackets (“ears”) can be replaced on their own. The standard type (for GKG and other printer brands) is a cost-effective choice for large restocking orders. Semi-automatic printers use stainless steel squeegees (manually pressed); when choosing, also confirm the end dam material (black rubber or stainless steel).
