The material of the wiper blade (squeegee wiper blade) has a direct effect on cleaning efficiency and service life. This page continues the part list from wiper blades I and explains the material differences between blades for each machine type. Aluminium-base blades (aluminium base + rubber strip) suit machines that use combined sections, such as A5 and GKG G9. White composite blades (Vespel composite with stainless steel, one piece) have high solvent resistance and suit high-frequency wiping. MPM vacuum blades have a built-in vacuum channel and work with the machine’s wet wiping function.
Material comparison:
- Aluminium-base blades: the rubber section can be replaced on its own, so maintenance cost is low — a good fit for lines on a tight budget.
- White composite (Vespel / stainless steel) blades: the one-piece structure is rigid and does not bend easily, giving stable wiping results for high-precision work.
- Vacuum blades (MPM compatible): the perforated design works with vacuum suction for more even wet wiping, but they fit MPM machines only.
Green single rubber strips (sold in 1 m lengths) can be cut to the length you need for non-standard sizes. Stencil wiper paper rolls (PP plain-weave) for use with these blades are also available.
