Stainless Steel Casters | SUS304, 1.5–8 in., Swivel / Brake / Fixed, Plate or Threaded Stem

Replacing casters on carts and equipment: check the floor first, then choose wheel material and load

When a caster breaks, the whole cart or machine can’t be moved. Casters with stainless steel brackets are not affected by moisture or washdown water, so they suit cleanrooms, food plants and freezers. JIAHON supplies SUS304 stainless steel casters from 1.5 to 8 in., plate and threaded stem mounting, with many wheel materials — sold individually or in sets.

SetsSingle or sets of 4 (e.g. 2 swivel + 2 swivel with brake, 2 swivel + 2 fixed)

How to choose

  • Work out the load per wheel: (cart weight + load) ÷ 3 is roughly what each wheel must carry. Divide by 3, not 4, because on uneven floors often only 3 wheels touch the ground.
  • The floor decides the wheel: cleanroom, tile and epoxy floors — PU or TPR, quiet and non-marking; rough concrete or floors with metal chips — nylon or all-steel; ovens and drying rooms — high-temperature version.
  • Swivel and fixed: for frequent long-distance pushing, use 2 fixed + 2 swivel (with brake) for easy straight travel; in tight spaces where the cart must turn in place, use 4 swivel casters with at least 2 brakes.
  • Check the mounting: if the equipment base is flat, choose top plate mounting and measure the hole spacing; if there is only a threaded hole, choose threaded stem and confirm M8, M10 or M12.

Applications

  • Replacing casters on cleanroom carts, workbenches and equipment bases
  • Carts and trolleys in food plants, central kitchens and freezers (washdown areas)
  • Oven and drying room carts (high-temperature version)
  • Laboratory instrument carts, adding wheels to racks

Notes

  • Load ratings are reference values for a single wheel on a flat floor; keep a safety margin.
  • Plate size and hole spacing differ between models; please measure the plate and hole spacing of your existing casters before asking for a quote.
  • Exact dimensions and temperature ranges of each model are given in the specification sheet with the quote.

When you request a quote, please tell us: wheel diameter, how many swivel / fixed / brake casters, plate hole spacing or stem thread, floor type and temperature, and the approximate total weight of the cart.
