How to choose

  • Seat: choose vented, thick, dish or a standard flat stainless seat first, then the base.
  • Base: stainless, ring, aluminum and chrome five-star bases differ in cost. Choose casters to move between workbenches, or fixed glides for a steady fixed position. Whether casters and glides are conductive is not stated by the manufacturer; please ask.
  • Height: measure the workbench height and seated leg room first, then choose the matching range. Tall stools (60–80 cm) have a foot ring.
  • Lift type: options named “screw lift” adjust by turning the seat; the others are mostly gas lift. Ask if unsure.

FAQ

Stainless steel lift stool vs lift stool with PU seat? The seat material differs: this page has stainless steel seats; the other has PU foam seats. Base and lift options are similar.

Screw lift vs gas lift? A screw lift adjusts height by turning the seat, with no gas cylinder. A gas lift uses a lever to release the gas cylinder.

Is there a surface resistance value or test report? The manufacturer labels surface resistance at 10⁵–10⁹ Ω, varying by model (10⁵–10⁸ or 10⁶–10⁹ Ω). There is no test report; tell us if you have a specific requirement.

Is the stainless steel 304? The 304 and 201 in option names are the manufacturer’s labels; no composition test has been done. Please ask if you need to confirm the material.

Can it be used in a cleanroom? This page does not claim a cleanroom class. Tell us the cleanliness class and we will check.

When you contact us, include: seat type, base material, casters or glides, height range, surface resistance requirement and quantity.
