Carts stuck at the threshold? A ramp smooths the way
Doorways to plants, warehouses and server rooms often have a threshold that carts and trolleys cannot cross, or that jolts the load when they do. A stainless steel threshold ramp placed in front of the threshold turns the step into a slope; the anti-slip checker plate surface is not affected by damp. How to choose
- Measure the threshold height first: the ramp should be the same height as the threshold or slightly lower, so there is no small lip at the top.
- Longer depth is easier to push: for the same height, a deeper ramp gives a gentler slope and easier pushing; for heavily loaded trolleys, choose a deeper model or a custom size.
- Length wider than the wheel track: the ramp’s length (across the doorway) should be at least 10 cm more than the outside width between the cart’s wheels.
- Heavy loads need extra-thick: where heavy trolleys or hydraulic pallet trucks pass, choose the extra-thick version.

Notes

- Checker plate can still be slippery outdoors or in rain — take care.
- Whether the ramp needs fixing (anchor bolts, anti-slip pads) depends on the site.
