Choose tiers, gauge and size for your workplace
Auto repair shops, scooter workshops, production lines and warehouses often need a cart to bring common tools, screws and parts to where the work is. This stainless steel tool cart (also called a tool trolley) has brushed stainless steel uprights and trays, with 6 cm-high lips on all four sides of every tray so screws and small parts do not roll off. It comes in 2, 3 and 4 tiers, with 3 tiers the most common. Most models have 3 in PU casters — 2 swivel casters with brakes and 2 fixed casters — so the cart tracks straight and stays put.

How to choose
- Tiers first: 3 tiers is the usual choice for hand tools and screw boxes; 2 tiers if you carry less and want it lower; 4 tiers for more categories.
- Then gauge: for heavy parts and daily pushing, choose heavy gauge (uprights 2 mm, trays 1.0 mm); for light items, standard is enough.
- Size by aisle and contents: narrow aisles, small (35 cm wide); full parts boxes and large tools, medium or large (40, 46 cm wide); small items beside a bench or machine, mini.
- To hang tools in view: choose the pegboard model, with hooks on three sides of the top tier.
- Wet areas that need frequent washing, such as food plants and labs: choose the 304 model.
Applications
- Auto and scooter repair: a service tool cart with wrenches, sockets and parts at hand
- Production lines and equipment maintenance: tools and spares wheeled to the machine
- Warehouses and kitting areas: parts sorted by tier for picking
- Laboratories and workshops: equipment and consumables stored by tier
Use with ESD stackable bin boxes on the trays to sort screws and parts so they are easy to see.
