Steel storage cabinet, powder coated, H1060 mm: for tools, files and consumables

About this cabinet: a general-purpose, non-security storage cabinet for factories. The body is cold-rolled steel with an epoxy powder coat, with swing or sliding doors, 1–3 adjustable shelves and a lock on the whole cabinet. It suits sorting and storing tools, documents, consumables and hardware, and keeps items from being taken by mistake. This page covers the H1060 mm floor-standing size; a W1200 wide version and an H1800 tall cabinet can be quoted.

Care tips

  1. Avoid wiping the powder coat with solvents: long-term wiping with IPA or acetone can dull or lift the coating. Use a damp cloth or a neutral cleaner.
  2. Clean sliding-door tracks every 6 months, and apply a dry track lubricant once a year (a general guide; follow the cabinet’s own instructions).
  3. A damaged lock cylinder can be replaced on its own; lost keys can be re-made with a matching cylinder.
  4. Fix tall cabinets (H1800 and above) to the wall with L brackets or anchors so they do not tip over in an earthquake.

Common questions

Swing or sliding doors for a steel cabinet beside the line? Sliding doors need no space in front of the cabinet, so they suit narrow aisles beside machines; swing doors give access to a whole shelf at once.

Can the steel cabinet be made in other sizes? The standard is 900 × 450 × 1060 mm; the 1800 mm tall and 1200 mm wide versions and other sizes can be quoted.
