When rigid pipe is connected to equipment that vibrates or needs to shift, the fittings tend to leak over time. Stainless steel hose (corrugated or bellows hose) can bend and absorb vibration, and handles heat and corrosion better than rubber hose. We supply SUS304 corrugated hose in DN4, DN6 and DN8, with lengths and fittings made to order.
Specifications
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Material | SUS304 seamless stainless steel corrugated tube |
| Size | DN4, DN6, DN8 |
| Standard length | 1000 mm; other lengths made to order |
| Fittings | Configured to your needs, confirmed when quoting |
| Pressure rating | Depends on size and construction; specs provided with the quote |
How to choose
- Match the size to the equipment port: DN is the nominal inside diameter (DN6 is about 6 mm). Check it against the equipment or the existing pipe port.
- Allow length for bending: do not install the hose pulled straight. Leave a short straight section near each fitting before the bend starts.
- Tell us the pressure and temperature first: for high pressure, steam or hydraulic use, give the working pressure and temperature when you ask for a quote, and we will provide the matching spec.
- Fitting type: female thread, male thread, quick connect or weld end. Please send a photo or the spec of the existing fitting.
Where it is used
- Equipment water inlet and outlet, cooling water and compressed air lines
- Piping on machines that vibrate or need to shift (absorbs vibration and alignment error)
- Hot water and steam lines (depending on spec)
Notes
- Pressure and temperature ratings depend on size and construction; a spec sheet comes with the quote.
- Avoid twisting and over-bending during installation, which shortens service life.
- Non-standard lengths and fitting combinations can be made to order.
How to request a quote: please tell us the size (DN), length, fitting type on both ends, the media, and the working pressure and temperature.
