Cut resistant, auxiliary shock protection, full protection for hot work.
Three protection needs in welding
Welding exposes hands to three hazards at once: (1) molten metal spatter (burns), (2) cuts and punctures from metal edges, and (3) electric shock from welding voltage (typically 50–90 V). A suitable welding glove has to handle all three, not just one.
Protection
| Protection | Description |
|---|---|
| Heat / burn resistant | Blocks molten metal spatter and heat transfer |
| Cut / puncture resistant | High-strength material against sharp metal edges |
| Auxiliary shock protection | Insulates against low-voltage welding current (auxiliary only, not a substitute for insulating gloves) |
| Moisture and oil resistant | For long shifts in industrial environments |
Typical work
- Metal cutting, gas welding, arc welding
- Handling hot parts, steel processing
- Cold storage work that needs protection from freezing (works for both heat and cold)
Note: These are industrial protective gloves. Shock protection is auxiliary only; they must not replace electrical insulating gloves (IEC 60903) for high-voltage work. For high-voltage work, ask us about insulating gloves.
