Why it matters: after long hours of high-speed work, the head unit and Y-axis linear module are the first parts of a Yamaha placement machine to wear: the KGT-M5109-071 drive part loses accuracy and the KV7-M9170-00 axis module gets noisy, and placement accuracy across the whole line drops with them.
