Stick feeders supply ICs, connectors and other parts packed in stick tubes; their structure is completely different from tape feeders. Yamaha SS / CL stick feeders are used on YS12, YS24, YSM20 and similar machines for larger packages such as SOP, PLCC and TSOP.
Common problems: parts jammed at the tube exit (worn or wrong-size exit stopper), vibration drive board failure (parts do not advance), and dust on the fiber sensor causing false detection. Stick feeders are simpler than tape feeders and most faults can be fixed on site. When asking, tell us the feeder model and the fault.
Supply type: for the same part number we may offer new parts (not through the brand’s authorized distributor in Taiwan), compatible parts or used parts removed from machines, depending on stock. Please tell us which you need.
