ESD reel boxes in three sizes, plus 14 styles of ESD PCB storage racks on the same page.
Why reels need ESD storage
SMT reel components (resistors, capacitors, ICs and others) can build up static when stored loose, and knocks in handling can damage the embossed carrier tape and spill the components. An ESD SMT reel box is made of conductive material, which gives the components inside a continuous path for static to drain, and its compartments hold every reel in a fixed position so each one can be seen and taken quickly.
Three sizes
| Size | Outer size (mm) | Reel capacity | Reels |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 410 × 190 × 110 | 26 | 7–8 inch standard reels |
| Medium | 450 × 190 × 110 | 30 | 7–8 inch standard reels |
| Large | 550 × 350 × 180 | 33 | Large reels or deep-profile reels |
This series is JIAHON’s own JHAI line of ESD packaging for SMT material control, designed around durability and practicality with no unnecessary complexity, for bulk purchase on volume lines.
Choosing a size: the medium box is the usual choice for standard 7-inch and 8-inch reels. For 13-inch reels or odd-shaped reels, check the large size first. Before volume production, check with the actual parts that they fit, then buy in quantity.
ESD PCB storage racks (14 styles)
Black anti-static plastic racks that hold PCBs one by one in slots, so that boards do not knock against each other. They come as strip, H, flat, U and L shapes, chosen by board size and how the board is stored.
| Item | Specification |
|---|---|
| Shape | Strip, H, flat, U and L (14 styles) |
| Colour / material | Black anti-static plastic |
| Slots / boards | 25–50 slots; 25–42 PCBs depending on style |
| Slot width | 2–5.3 mm depending on style |
| Weight per rack | 260–940 g depending on style |
| Surface resistance | Marked as anti-static. No surface resistance test data is supplied; if you have a required value, ask us first |
Strip, H, flat and U styles are flat (25–50 mm high). L styles have an upright back wall (95–130 mm), so larger or heavier boards lean against it and are less likely to tip. Ask us for the size, slot count, slot width, depth, pitch and weight of each style.
Choosing a rack: measure the PCB length, width and thickness, then count how many boards you need to hold. The slot must be wider than the board thickness. If you are not sure of the board type or use, tell us the PCB size, thickness and quantity, and we will confirm.
Used with
- ESD PCB basket trolley, when the whole trolley is moved (basket 410 × 280 × 160 mm, 38 boards per basket)
- ESD PCB storage rack, for buffering boards between SMT stages (5 mm slot, several sizes)
